The Amsterdam Denim Days & Blueprint

 

 

One of our objectives is to connect & inspire individuals, brands and organisations throughout the industry, right from cotton farmers to end consumers, around denim and its future. Also, we aspire to put Amsterdam on the map as a city where Denim, Innovation, Craftsmanship and sustainability are top-of-mind. To do so, we have initiated an event called Amsterdam Denim Days: a programme of all things blue, ranging from trade shows to seminars and from exhibitions to parties. Denim Days is produced in close collaboration with Modefabriek, HTNK, Kingpins, the city of Amsterdam, local brands and retailers.

 

 

The first edition kicked off in May of 2014 - general consensus among exhibitors, visitors, experts and media: a Big Success. A big compliment came from industry godfather Adriano Goldschmied: 'Congratulations on the marriage between Amsterdam and the international denim industry. This marriage will have many beautiful babies.'

 

 

Highlights of Denim Days include Kingpins, the leading invite-only trade event; Blueprint, a b-2-c event with exhibitors and events ranging from Gstar and Pepe's latest innovations to indigo dyeing workshops, vintage markets and parties; Towards a Brighter Blue, an industry inspiration seminar; and a host of great parties and launches in shops downtown.
